Stuffed breads
Ingredients for 2 breads:
2 round breads (recipe)
2 dices of butter
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of crumbled feta
Thin slices of smoked salami
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pinches of dried savory
Dry parsley
Preparation:
If you use homemade breads, remove them from the oven before they are fully baked. Cut a round hole in the middle of each and gently dig out the crumb. Be careful not to puncture them, or burn yourself, as they are too hot.
Walk a dice of butter inside the holes thus created, then garnish with feta cheese and sprinkle with savory. Line the sides of each hollow with a few slices of salami. Pop in an egg right in the middle of each bread hole, then salt and sprinkle with black pepper, parsley and savory. Place a piece of butter on top.
Return the stuffed breads to the oven (always at 180°C) until the eggs are well cooked through and the crust is golden (20 minutes or so).
