Bulgarian watermelon and cheese salad
Ingredients:
Watermelon, chilled, sweet and very ripe
Feta-type sheep cheese
Walnuts
Salad oil
Cider vinegar
My favorite supplements:
Avocado, raspberries, banana, goji berries, wheat germs, brewer’s yeast flakes
Preparation:
Peel the watermelon (and possibly the other fruits) and cut it into cubes. Transfer to a deep plate. Then garnish with crumbled feta cheese and chopped walnuts and season with aromatic salad oil and light vinegar. I often add a sprinkle of wheat germs and brewer’s yeast over the cheese.
Serve immediately while the watermelon is freshly cut and chilled.
