
Sugar cookies
Ingredients for 25 cookies:
200 g flour
120 g soft butter
1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup (I had syrup from green fig jam)
80 g icing sugar
1 dose vanilla
Sugar, coarse

Preparation:
Whip the soft butter and icing sugar until smooth cream. Flavor with vanilla and the syrup. Whisk until very soft consistence.
Sift the flour into a bowl and stir it in the mixture. Make a dense and smooth pastry. Then shape it into a cylinder of 5 cm in diameter. Wrap it in plastic wrap and place in the freezer just enough time to harden it.
Out of the freezer, roll the cylinder in coarse sugar. Then cut biscuits 5 to 6 mm thick. Place on a baking sheet, well spaced.
Bake at 180°C for about 20 to 25 minutes. Store in a cookie jar.
