Crumble cheese pie
Based on my granny’s recipe
Ingredients:
2/3 cup neutral oil
1 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
300 g feta cheese
3 eggs
Preparation:
Mix the yogurt and baking soda, let it rise. Then, whisk in the oil until smooth. Salt. Gradually stir in the flour and make a soft dough. Reserve a third of it.
Butter a large round baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Roll out the dough into a circle and place it in the dish. Spread over the beaten eggs with the crumbled cheese. Tear the remaining dough into small pieces and scatter over the egg mixture.
Bake the pie at 180°C until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Serve warm or reheated in the oven.
