Zucchini and mozzarella flan
Ingredients:
2-3 small zucchini
3 eggs
200 ml milk cream
100 g plain yogurt
Fresh dill
1 ball of mozzarella or 100 g of feta cheese
50 g smoked bacon sticks
1 teaspoon flour
3 tablespoons of oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Cut the zucchini into slices and brush one side with oil. Grill them on both sides on a grill pan. While still hot, put them in a covered dish, salt each batch.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, cream and yogurt. Season with salt, black pepper, chopped fresh dill and thicken with a spoonful of flour. Pour a little oil. When the mixture is smooth, add the zucchini slices cut into quarters, the cubed mozzarella and the smoked bacon sticks.
Pour the preparation into a buttered baking dish. Smooth the surface.
Bake the flan at 175°C for about 40 minutes or until golden and firm. Let cool and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
Cut into bite-size pieces and serve as an appetizer or take with you to a picnic. Of course, the flan could be served hot as a main dish (it tastes just like a gratin).
