Winter dessert with pumpkin and nuts
1 kg baked pumpkin (1 kg with the skin)
80 g of dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, figs and dates
50 g of nuts of your choice (almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts)
1 teaspoon mahleb
Agave syrup (or honey)
Remove the skin of the pumpkin (the flesh must be still firm) and cut into uniform cubes. Peel the apples and pears, core and dice as well.
Mix everything in a ceramic baking dish, well buttered. Sprinkle over the nuts (chopped). Sweeten the dessert with agave syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon and mahleb.
Bake the winter dessert about 20 minutes at 200°C. Serve warm, although it is also delicious cold.
