Аpple and pear flognarde
Based on an old French recipe
Ingredients:
3 apples (medium size)
2 pears (medium size)
85 g sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons oil
250 ml milk
150 ml milk cream, 30% fat
80 g flour
2 pinches of salt
½ teaspoon of natural vanilla extract
Preparation:
Rinse and core the apples and pears without peeling them. Then slice crosswise making fruit wheels with a hole in the middle. Spread them in a buttered baking dish (24-26 cm diameter).
In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar, then add the oil, cream and milk. Finally, thicken the mixture with the sifted flour and salt. Pour it over the fruit in the dish.
Bake the apple and pear flognarde in the oven at 180°C for about 55 minutes. Let cool and cut like a cake.
