Patranque
Based on an old French recipe from the Auvergne region
Ingredients for 2 people:
4-6 slices of rye bread
1 spoonful of pork grease or 15 g butter
4 slices smoked bacon
1-2 cloves of garlic
100 g of raclette cheese
Black pepper
Preparation:
Cut the bread into cubes (15-20 mm each side). Melt the grease (or butter) in a fryingpan. Lay the bread cubes in it. Sauté until they are lightly browned and crispy.
Then put the garlic (sliced) and bacon (cut into sticks). When they melt and turn crispy, sprinkle with the grated cheese. Mix thoroughly until it melts and stretches thread-like.
Serve the dish immediately, sprinkled with black pepper.
