Oven baked apples with cheese and nuts
Ingredients:
Apples, sweet and juicy
Favorite cheese (mozzarella, goat or cow camembert, other)
Raisins
Hazelnuts and almonds, raw
Agave syrup (or honey)
Preparation:
Wash the apples and cut into 3 thick slices crosswise. Deseed the middle slice.
Line a large baking dish with parchment paper. Lay the apple slices on. Tip a thick piece of cheese on the middle and bottom pieces, sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts, almonds and raisins. Finally, pour over some agave syrup. Place the apple hats among the garnished slices, without seasoning them.
Bake in preheated to 200°C oven for 20-25 minutes or until the apple is tender and the cheese melts. Cool slightly.
Serve the oven-baked apples, assembling all parts of an apple in each plate. Overlap them or put one over the other. Serve slightly warm.
