Bulgarian-style pizza
Or how was my grandmother made it

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch of sugar
½ package baking powder
½ cup sunflower or grapeseed oil
2 tablespoons plain yogurt

Lyuténitsa (Bulgarian tomato and red pepper sauce, the recipe)
100 g feta cheese
150 g grated cheese as Emmental, Gouda, Masdaam
2 frankfurters
Dried savory

Preparation:

Sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Push it towards the sides to make a well in the center. Then, pour in the beaten egg, yogurt, salt, sugar, oil. Adding a little warm water and extra flour, knead a soft dough.

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and transfer it to a buttered and floured baking tray (or lined with parchment paper).

Coat the dough with a little oil. Then spread a thick layer of luyténitsa. Top the pizza dough with crumbled feta cheese, diced sausages and grated cheese. Sprinkle with savory.

Bake the pizza at 200°C until golden. Serve immediately.
