Apple and rice dessert
Ingredients:
3-4 apples
1-2 tablespoons honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Wholemeal biscuits with nuts and dried fruits
½ cup round-shaped rice
1 cup water
300 ml of milk
50 ml of milk cream
2-3 tablespoons raisins
3 tablespoons ground almonds
2-3 drops of bitter almond flavor
Preparation:
Wash the apples, remove the heart with an apple corer. Place in a baking dish, lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200°C until tender. Then remove the skin and grate the flesh of the apples in a bowl. Sweeten to taste with honey or sugar. Flavor with cinnamon.
Boil the rice in the cup of water. Once absorbed, pour in the milk and cream (heated). Also add the almonds. Sweeten to taste (about 4-5 tablespoons of sugar) and flavor with bitter almond. Cook until thick and creamy. Add the raisins 5 minutes before the end of cooking.
To serve, fill deep water or whiskey glasses up to 1/3 with the applesauce. Place on a biscuit. Then, fill up to 2/3 with the rice and almond cream. Decorate the dessert with raisins and crushed biscuits.
