Colorful carrot crackers
Ingredients:
1 cup rye flour
½ cup buckwheat flour
3 tablespoons sesame
3 tablespoons of ground flax seeds
1 teaspoon dried thyme
20 g parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 tablespoons of yogurt
1 large carrot, grated
1/3 cup white port
6 tablespoons grapeseed oil
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients, including grated carrots and parmesan. Then add the liquid ingredients, such as oil, wine and yogurt. Knead a rather firm dough.
Roll the dough into a sheet of 2 mm thickness. Cut square or rectangular biscuits with a pizza cutter. Prick each cookie with a fork.
Bake the crackers at 180°C until golden brown. Let cool and serve with a vegetable dip, some favorite cheese of yours or just nibble as an afternoon snack.
